A poem I wrote: Never More

I'm sick of your lies,
I'm sick of the tears,
Careless cascades
Of horrible wasted years.-
Why did you hurt me?
Why don't you care?
I waited for love;
That just wasn't there...-
Alone in the darkness
Contempt for the day;
I tried to be happy,
Now broken;
I lay.-
Girls send you flowers
And girls send you notes;
Just waiting in line;
To get their hearts broke.-
Cry out in remembered pain,
Fall deeper
Into lies.
Ever-lasting
Nver-fading;
The hurt showed clearly in her eyes.-
I thought you cared
Why did you leave?
Your pretending to love me
Made me believe.
Countless years wasted
With hope in my heart
The hate in your eyes
Just tore me appart.
Kept alone in the darkness
My heart yearns for you
Your evil eyes rest on my heart
And you see;
It's broken in two.-
But you don't care,
you never did,
I guess my pain just helps you live;
Lost.
Forever more.
