Tell me

Tell me, as you sit, patiently waiting, how many times has the wind howled? How many times has the owl called? How many times have the mome raths called out with wonder in the distand neverwolderland down that dreaded rabit hole? You must have been paying close attention, with all this spare time on your hands as you wait. You should have been counting as you silently wait...
Tell me, have the dragons gone hunting yet this evening? Has the prinsess kissed the frog just yet? How many times has the crow called, swooping so hauntingly over the grave yard, searching for lost souls in the breeze? You must have been counting with all this spare time in the waiting that you've been up to. My friend, I forgot to ask, what exactly have you been waiting for? All these lonely nights, waiting so patiently, counting everything with such a aurdurous themeing spite that you hide within the dead of your mind...
Tell me, what are you waiting for? Could it be something thats big, and forocious, or is it small and bearing gifts? is it a person, or is it a gohst, that wails as it weeps and it seeks nothing forgetting its journy and fretting over forgotten lost time in the angelless wind.
Turning to look at me your black stringgy hair falls from your shoulder as you slowly turn, you are preturbed and your anger boils hot and feirce under your skin, I feel you as if you are a cobra about to strike, and I am frightened. You smile at me, and your toothless grin fills the silence with unlucky probing to find me and take me within its horror. You smile, and thats all. I had been waiting for so long for you to come down but you were busy waiting. "What are you waiting for, my dear?"
You turn slowly, cracking, once again and as I watch my blood runs cold. "I've been waiting for you..."

all goes black when the end draws near, but I think I remember my scream...
